Edwin Shin
DirectorEdwin Shin has over 15 years of industry experience in software engineering, analytics, linked data and digital asset management. Part of the original Cornell University research team that developed the Fedora Repository, he served as one of the principal developers and Steering Committee members for the Fedora and Hydra Projects. Edwin received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003.

Datalake
A client needed to bring together data from multiple mobile apps and a global CRM system into a single managed system. In partnership with ThoughtWorks, TRA built a datalake with fully automated infrastructure on AWS that supports the needs of data scientists, business analysts and marketing managers alike.
Purchase Propensity Model
A large electronics manufacturer wanted better, more efficient customer targeting. TRA developed and deployed a model that accurately predicted which of their customers were most likely to purchase one of their flagship products in the next 30 days. Presently, our model is deployed across nine countries.
Shared Services Platform
To support a client's increasing demand for data-driven marketing from its Southeast Asia offices, TRA built a multi-tenant platform on Google Cloud Platform to enable each office to develop its own advanced analytics capabilities on a shared data analytics platform that lowered costs, reduced duplication of effort while increasing speed-to-market.
